Kochi: ‘It is the responsibility of our society to protect Ram Sethu’ wrote Mata Amrithanandamayi in her message expressing solidarity with the Ram Sethu Protection Movement’s Meeting held at Madurai. Ram Sethu is revered by millions of devotees and Sethu’s place in our history is undisputable.

In Kochi, Rameswaram Ram Sethu Raksha Samithi has been formed by Socio-Cultural- Environmental organisations in Kerala.V.K.Viswanathan is selected as Samithi’s convenor.

Samithi will conduct Awareness campaign, Sathyagrahas and prayer meetings all over Kerala. Ramsethu Raksha pledge will be taken in the August 17th meeting at Thiruvananthauram, informed Kshetra Samrakshana Samithi prachar pramukh A. Jayakumar.
