Go ahead with Sethu project: Communists
Communists continue their cheeky games. State units of the CPI (M) and the CPI on Monday urged the Centre to go ahead with the implementation of the Sethusamudram project, “a 150-year old dream of the people of Tamil Nadu.”
In a joint statement here, N. Varadarajan and D. Pandian, secretary of the CPI (M) and CPI, said recent statements by Congress leaders had raised a question mark on the project. Urging the Centre to take steps for early implementation of the project, the parties would organise a joint rally and public meeting at Tuticorin on February 23. (Link)
